SPRING HAS SPRUNG!
It feels wonderful to have mild temperatures, birds singing, green green grass, and SUNSHINE. I finally feel like I’ve come out of hibernation!
Along with the wonderful slide into the season, I’ve kept up on reading this month, mostly with the help of audiobooks. It’s been a tough physical reading month for me, and I’ve been feeling a little scatterbrained with my flurry of activities. Here’s what I’ve managed to knock off the TBR and review this month:
- The Atomic City Girls by Janet Beard
- Moon Magic by Diane Ahlquist
- The Last American Man by Elizabeth Gilbert
- Southernmost by Silas House
- Lies That Bind by Daniel Fox
- Cockpit Chronicles by KW Peery
- Peach by Wayne Barton
- The Humans by Matt Haig
- Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts
- Sugar Run by Mesha Maren
- Joey by Jennifer Marshall Bleakley
This month, I also want to note the really cool book signing and discussion I went to featuring Silas House. I wrote as much of the Q&A portion that I could, and shared in a post. It was such a unique experience, and I highly recommend the book being promoted- Southernmost.
Along with these novels, I also wrote a little post on what being a book blogger means to me! I got a lot of great comments on it over my various social media platforms, and am thinking about more book blogger advice that I can relay that may help others. Feel free to drop some suggestions in the comments!
On that note, I’ve also done some reorganizing here on the Lexington Bookie. I’m trying to make it really easy to navigate the site and fill in areas that could use some additional attention. I’ll point out and link up the changes when they are complete, hopefully next month. If you notice any of the areas under construction, please bear with me!
I also just wanted to take a moment to thank all the awesome bookies out there who have followed The Lexington Bookie and helped me reach my goal of 500 followers!!! It’s such a huge accomplishment and I hope you all know that you’re why I love this blog! Not to be too cheesy, but you’re all my motivation and often my inspiration! Sincerely, thank you for hanging with me <3
That’s all I wanted to say this month, and I’ll see you in April!
