2019: A Summary

img_9821I can honestly say I am soooo ready to put 2019 in the past and start fresh in 2020.

I don’t know if it will be a better year or not, but just looking back on the past year… it’s been a doozy. I’ve worked my butt off, and a lot of great things have happened, but there’s been some rough patches that threw things off kilter. I’m really looking forward to the chance to reset as we cross into January.

Still, I am interested – and I hope you are too – to take a look back at the reads I’ve reviewed this year, and see some reading stats! It felt like a really strong reading year, even though I know I read less than last year.

DAISY JONES AND THE SIX

by Taylor Jenkins Reid!

It was a super tough group this year because I read some really amazing novels, but DJ&TS came out on top because it had everything I love in a novel- drama, nostalgia, romance, a badass female character that I can relate too, amazing characterization, and the ability to pull me in so much that I lose track of time and everything around me.

I hope you all had an amazing reading year, and if you want to drop your links to your 2019 reading summaries in the comments section, please do so I can check them out!
